North Shore LIJ, 2nd interview is a good sign?

I already had my interview with the Nurse Manager 2 weeks ago and now the HR scheduled my 2nd interview with her for the new units that they will open this summer. Is this a normal protocol of the system? Is this a good sign? She said training will start on May. I also had an interview with a psychiatric facility yesterday so im hoping that they will not call me back anytime soon. I want to work with Northshore but i don't know if I will get hired even if im for 2nd interview. My friends who worked there before told me that this is actually a good sign. So can u share any experience that you experienced with them when u got hired or rejected after the interview. Thanks.

I think it is a good sign. The are obviously interested.

I am a new grad with my Bachelors and interviewed with NSLIJ for the critical care fellowship in January... i ended up not getting chosen after 3 interviews.. the nurse manager was nice to keep her promise, (unlike other ones i have dealth with who say they will continue to help you but then ignore you), and pass my paperwork onto another recruiter who ended up setting me up with an interview for another position.. i had an interview with the manager and one week later I was given an offer... I am very excited to have landed a position and look forward to starting in March

I have been looking heavily, applying to all hospitals in NYC and Westchester with very little to no luck... i was only called for two interviews, both with NYP during my 7 months of searching... I understand the struggle going on right now, but just keep applying everywhere and remain positive.
