I'm going to be at the NLC campus! See you in June for orientation!
Also, congrats for making it to the next semester to all new 2nd - 4th semester NLC/ECC student nurses & congrats to the graduates! :balloons:
Good luck to everyone!
Thanks :)
For 1st semester, at least for my 1st semester, we ended up going 4 days a week, but now that may be changed with the HPRS class.
3rd and 4th semester, the lecture was online at the North Lake campus. Therefore, we pretty much only went to clinical 1-2 X week, and on campus only for the exams.
Hopefully, someone will come see this that had to do the HPRS course to tell you how it has changed.
Funny, I am going to congratulate you in two days.I didn't have time to write this week because we have been really busy in June. I have actually picked up my second 16 hour shift this week.
Good luck, Mysterious.
Thank you....I hope so!!!!
So, there's a bunch of weddings, and babies born in June? HOW DOES THAT WORK? :chuckle
16 hour shifts.....wow!
SECOND 16 hour shift, Katie? No way!!!! Wow!!!!! I'd love to see that paycheck
Yes, summer is busy time and we all are working overtime. Then winter is slower and we get cancelled shifts.
Today I have seen new nurses going for general orientation. That means that we have been out for 6 months already? Why do I still struggle starting an IV??? :chuckle
WOOOHOOOO!!!!!! Yeah I've been celebrating!!! When I looked at the State Board website and saw my name verified as an RN it was incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wait - FUN - you'll see what it is like tomorrow!!! What a HUGE relief. I didn't pay for the PearsonVue I just looked - FOR FREE - on the State Board website and got the "official" verification!
Congratulations.
