Congrats to all of us that were accepted to the nursing program at either campus for Fall '06!!!!

I'd advise to get the 2nd HepB a few days early, or get written permission from the school. (I'm anal like that.) :chuckle I'm sure it won't matter as far as being able to do clinicals, but I'd want ECC permission for my application. Although I agree with gauge14iv....6 weeks isn't way off the schedule.

Hey guys......I have also been accepted to the NL campus for the fall 2006. I am an "older" student and scared to death. I am actually quitting my full time job in order to pursue this degree. I hope I am doing the right thing. I am taking Micro this summer from 5-10 M/W. Any pointers are appreciated!

Welcome to AllNurses.com, Kendra! You say "older", I'm 32...not old, but not right out of high school either. :)

Hi Kendra, are you taking micro at NLC? My micro is from 2pm to 7pm. I think we will have the same lecture class.

I will be attending NLC for the summer Mirco with Dr. Su. I tried to take him this past spring but my job decided I need to do additional duties while someone was out on maternity leave so I did not have the time. I keep telling myself it is only for 8 weeks and I can do anything for 8 weeks. Last semester he gave his tests through the testing center and gives you 5 days to take it. I do not know about summer courses though. The lab part is BORING. Not very structured at all. But we have to have this course, so I will be quiet and take it. I see only 9 people have signed up for it......hmmmm.....

I took it at Broohaven, in an 8-week class. I couldn't imagine taking it during a full semester.

My insurance is changing, so I will not have coverage when I am supposed to get the second shot.

But, I found out today that according to my drs office new insurance wouldn't cover the second shot if it started under different insurance. So, it looks like I have to pay for it (and the 3rd) out of pocket no matter what.

Doesn't ECC offer some of the shots? Anyone know which ones and how much?

Hi! I just completed my first semester actually survived at ECC. How was the lecture teacher for second semester? I know the first semester one was horrible! I am hoping 2nd semester is a little better!
