Johnston Community College 2010 and TEAS

U.S.A. North Carolina

So what do you think that minimum score would be to get into Johnston Community College ADN program for 2010? I did just ok on my TEAS. I may have about 95 points total. But I scored 87% on the TEAS with a score of 83.5. One of my friends talked to admissions and she mentioned that in order to be competitive this year you MUST have scored atleast an 80. Also I am wondering when to expect letters of admission...or rejection....I am hoping to hear sooooon after the May 15th deadline to be on the Nurse Aid registry.

The point ranking sheet for the JCC nursing program can be found on their web site. Additional points are not awarded for being a member of an honor society; however, if students have the same point rank score, the applicant's GPA on nursing related courses will be considered. I also heard recently that JCC will be admitting an additional twenty students, bringing the total to eighty(80) students. Best of luck to everyone!! We will all know soon. The wait is awful.:)

YEA! 80 students total. This is totally awesome. I hope I get in. Good luck to all of you guys. I will be expecting my letter (good or bad) around the 29th of May. I hope you guys tell me if you got in.

I talked to person at JCC last week and the letters are being mailed tomorrow, May24th.

That's great news! It seems as though I've been waiting forever. Thanks for the update. I wish everyone the best of luck. :)

Scarrrrrry! I hate the waiting and the feeling of being in limbo, but atleast I am anticipating success and not swallowing the bitter taste of defeat.

No news today!! Too nerve-wracking.

I feel the same way! I just received my mail and still no letter. Last year the letters were written on May 25 but were mailed on May 28. Maybe the college waits to mail the letters on a Thursday because of the Memorial Day weekend. After people receive their letters(rejection or acceptance), the school is inundated with phone calls and visits to the college. We will probably receive the letter Friday.

Nothing in my mail either. This is driving me crazy!

according to a person at the college they didn't go out yesterday, they went out this morning.
