Leland is a growing little town in Brunswick County just across the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge from Wilmington. It's always been sort of a run-down place with a bad rep, but it is starting to take off due to its proximity to Wilmington and a few housing developments. Brunswick Hospital (Bolivia, NC) and New Hanover Hospital (Wilmington) are about a 20 to 30 min. drive depending on where in Leland you are.
