NON-Hospital New Grads - Where Were You Hired?

:typing For those of us who were not fortunate enough to get into a hospital fresh out of school, here are some questions:

1) Where did you finally get a job at?

2) Was it your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice? Maybe your only choice?!?

3) What was your starting salary offer?

4) Do you like it? Or will you go out running as soon as your 1st choice is available?

Me:

1) Still looking for regular work but working PRN in long-term care facility where I have worked since I was a CNA.

2) Long-term care is my last choice. 1st choice = hospital (med/surg, oncology as new grad intern), 2nd choice = place where I can use my bilingual skills.

3) Right now making almost $24/hr (includes shift differential & PRN rate = without both it would be about $20/hr)

4) No. I'll be running as fast as I can!
