Hello.
I've been on this site since Sept 2008 and nobody has applied to baylor's nursing program in Dallas? I can't find any threads about it?? Where are you at? lol. If you did apply and you've been looking like me for threads, what were your gpa and net?? and are you a transfer student or coming from big baylor in waco.

i graduated from the program 4 years ago and i transferred from a community college. if you haven't already call them directly. you will get some information that way. i know it may be cumbersome navigating the page. i used to go through the bu website, use the drop box and a couple clicks. it wasn't easy then and it sounds like that has not changed. i had a 3.29 when i got in spring 2003. there are some scholarships that took help me get over the sticker shock. yes, it is a private university. good luck.
thank you so much. ive heard a lot more transfer get accepted in the spring, but i went ahead and tried for the fall a second time. first time didnt get in so i retook some classes and i pulled my gpa up. what can you tell me about the program.
It is rigorous as any program with 18-19 hr semesters. I think they encourage a 4 semester approach to finishing college (not counting summers). It seems I did see a lot of transfer students in Spring with me, but did not compare Fall semester. The age of class average is younger than say TWU as some of the student from Baylor Waco are to me kids at 20-21 years old, but my class had the most males seen of I think 8-9. I think we had a good program, but I think TWU had more new equipment for labs than us. The instructors were tough, but I really liked most of them. Good luck.
thank you so much. i should find out here in about two weeks. i applied to TWU, Midwestern, SFA, and TVCC. Twu and Baylor are my top two schools. i would love to get into twu, but its really comptetive and i only have a 3.4 so thats not on the high end for twu, but it is for baylor. but im keeping my fingers crossed. what are you doing now.
I wish you well in getting. I remember the nerves of waiting and hoping. When I applied back in 2002 you could get into TWU with about a 3.3, but it just kept going up. I do not think GPA should be the final criteria. However that is the tool they use and they seem to use that as a weeding out criteria. So many people and so few slots.
