2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

Hi. Same here. Same agency, trust, and queue date. :)

Are you currently in PH? Goodluck to us!

Hi guys! I just called the NMC today and they told me my application has been approved. It's just that they can't send me my DL yet as they are having technical issues but they will as soon as they resolve the problem.

Good for you Kryzzle. After they asked for my gap last week Thursday, they again asked for a confirmation e-mail from my 2nd referee that her role as a Nursing Operations Officer is senior to that of a staff nurse. She complied last Friday and my assessor e-mailed me yesterday confirming the receipt of the that e-mail from my senior nurse. She said she'll assess my docs asap. Hopefully I will get my DL soon. I'm on the 44th day since I entered the queue. 😬

Hi,

Anyone here received your DL with a que date from 3rd may 2018.. I am anxiously waiting since it's more than a month but no feedback yet.. kindly reply

Don't worry, it has just been 30 working days. I've been on queue last April 23 and I just had my "unofficial" DL last June 12 (it's just that they can't send me one yet because my portal has some technical problems but basically my application has been completed). Just be patient. For sure, you will hear from them soon. Otherwise, call them.

Everyone is different as we all have different backgrounds, hence different timelines. But of course, let's hope for the best that you will have your DL soon too.

Thank you. But I hope they can fix the tecnical problem on my portal so they will email me my DL already.

Yeah, I know it can really be frustrating but just be patient. They will give it soon enough. You may want to call them though. It's way faster than just waiting for their emails.

No. I'm still in Bahrain. I'll go to ph once i receive my DL. How about u?

Thank you... did you apply through agency or yourself.. I don't have agency and applied myself.. does that make any difference in the outcome

Agency guide you accordingly and help pays for some of your expenses too.
