Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
@mich567715 i'm from ASPH... But i have friend under BSUH. are you from bsuh as well?
@nenelove, Yes, I am from BSUH, received my DL this August and according the agency I am placed in the list for CoS allocation, Haven't heard from them though, according to the latest information, they have to wait for the Home office feedback, and since it is weekend today. I have to wait till tomorrow...
@dianaoldfieldI was requested to submit the UK police check(as I have been living in the UK since Apr this year), the transcript of training form from my university but with a different format (the university sent their own official form but NMC had to calculate the hours which NMC refused and asked my university to change the format!), and they also said the forms sent from my university did not look original so asked me to contact my university to send NMC a letter saying these are originals. :-/
OMG! It took them almost a month to let you know that you'll need additional documents. Did they email you or call you? Or did you just happen to call NMC for an update?
Hi, @mich567715! I believe we are from the same agency. I am still waiting for an update from them. Someone I know, who is from the 1st cohort from our hospital said that there is only a limited number of cos that was issued. I hope we'll both be granted the cos this month. I'm starting to feel hopeless.
I am also waiting for a CoS. My question is *********score if general nurse *****30? ******************************* *****how much score did u expect ull get anyway?
@lloydsabijon
What they meant by EU nurses are those from Spain, Portugal, Romania etc. And those who are going to be available by 2017 are the UK nursing students who have started their University this year. By hiring those EU nurses, a big hole in the NHS employment for the past few months has been covered. Another solution that they seems to be working is that they are encouraging those Brits who have left the NMC register to come back and their number increased considerably. They are expecting more than 7,000 newly graduates this year which will make it harder.
The Prime Minister, David Cameron, who was recently re-elected is very vocal on cutting the immigrants which is his very priority. He has never been an advocate of foreign workers. Although be positive because the RCN is against theses changes and they are pushing steps to change these. Keep praying! They are in desperate need and they need foreign nurses, that's a fact they can not ignore. God bless us all!

@mich567715 same here... I am getting really anxious. Hope they were able to get enough numbers of COS for all of us. Goodluck for tomorrow's result. Whatever happens, let's just tryst God's plans for us. 😊
I think we all have to read this.
I will be taking the cbt for the first time and reading how people feel about how the exam is set is not so encouraging and quite a scare. Anyone who took the exam recently for tips? Its sad if majority people fail because of the ''critical questions'' Really don't know how I will get it right because certainly its not a normal distribution unless those who pass are not on this forum....
