NLN-PAX Exam

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello my fellow nursing students!

I'm about to apply for my community college's nursing program, and it requires me to take the NLN-PAX exam. If you guys are willing to share some tips on how to effectively study for the NLN, as well as your composite score (if you feel comfortable)! Any advice would be appreciated!

Get the red book (one with the CD rom)and the practice tests and also quizlets, I can share mines for vocab if needed.  Also importantly with math , try your best to write down every question whether you get it right or wrong, also try to to study at least 2 hours a day too. But the practice test from the red book help tremendously. If science isn't your thing then mometrix helps too.

Can I ask what red book you are referring to? I actually was told the same thing by someone else who got into the program saying they studied from "the red book". I was so confused but maybe I'm just slow ? I looked up red book nln and it gave me a crummy Amazon book that apparently had bad reviews.
