Has anyone recently taken the CNE exam? I am scheduled the end of this month. I have read front to back Billings & Halstead, as well as Wittmann-Price. Also took practice A and B from the NLN site. Any advice would be appreciated! Many thanks.

I haven't taken it yet, but am planning to this summer. Good luck, and please come back to let us know how you did! I would love to hear if your study techniques/resources were effective.
Will do! I am two weeks away from testing...

I took and passed it in January. Billings and Halstead, and took the in person one day review. Didn't care for the instructor, but the handouts were my main study guide.
Thank you. I find the Billings/Halstead book more informative. Unfortunately, I could not find an in-person review course in the area near the time for testing. I'll keep studying and practicing questions until exam day!
Hello everyone,
I took the exam today and passed! I have to admit the exam was very difficult, and I did study and prepare quite a bit as you can see from my original post. I would recommend these materials. I took me 2 hours 50 minutes to finish. Now keep in mind that my MSN and DNP are not in the education specialty. My specialty is nursing administration, and joined academia two years ago. I did study for 3 months quite extensively and work for a wonderful school of nursing that "walks the walk" in academia.
Good luck to all taking the exam in the future!
