Nightmare about failing...

Had a terrible dream last night that I failed clinical and thus failed nursing school. The dream seemed so real and vivid. In the dream a pt. fell and I forgot to do v/s and neuro checks. The director of the program sent me home and stated that I failed. :crying2::crying2::crying2:

All I kept thinking about in the dream was how I was 3 months away from pinning. In the dream I offered to do anything to stay but was not allowed back in.

So scary, since every since I was little I have had the gift of having dreams and them coming to past in the future. Many of vivid dreams I have had came true, not all but most. I just hope this is more of a warning. Sigh-

Just had to get that off my chest. :crying2:

I don't believe in superstitions, but if it makes you feel any better my mother used to tell me that if we have a bad dream and then tell someone about it, it won't come to pass.

Dreams are little more than our subconscious mind working out our the troubles and joys of our everyday life. You won't fail. You're almost there, just keep going.

Awww I remember my 1st bad nursing dream too lol. We all got exams, but mine was blank. The teacher said since I was 15 mins late that was all I got so I just had to guess the answers. Its so silly but of course at the time it seemed so real, I could even see the texture of the walls, what people wore, etc. One theory I read is that dreams are the minds way of working out our fears and worries, and this sounds like the case for you. Im sure youre a fantastic worker and have nothing to worry about! :)
