NICU Travel Nursing

I was wondering if anyone has done travel nursing in the NICU and how they liked it. I have been thinking about it for a while and am considering giving it a try. What do you think?

I have and i know quite a few NICU nurses that have traveled. I stay close to home so i have done contracts in the DC area. Georgetown and Childrens hosp always use travellers.. There is a website-Delphi forums and under travel nurses and therapists you will get a wealth of information. You need a couple yrs exp under your belt so you can hit the floor running. Some hosp travellers get floated a lot. Its an experience in itself. The money is ok not as great as staffers think. You do not earn sick or vacation time but if its something you want to do-go for it.
