figuring T.I.

  1. Hello I was wondering if I could get help figuring how much to run my I.V. if I was only given the weight in grams?
Ex..a 1660 gram baby needing 100cc/kg/day? How do I set this up to figure an hourly IV rate? Thanks!!

Just convert the grams to kilos.

take the wt x amount you want to give in a day divided by hours in a day (24)= hourly rate.
