Normal nursery or well baby nursery nurses do just that, they take care of kids that have had a pretty uneventful pregnancy and delivery and are "normal". NICU nurses take care of kids from 22weeks gestation to full term with multiple types of problems ranging from RDS, sepsis, congenital problems, surgical problems, etc. There is a little more pathophys required by NICU nurses, but most nursery nurses have that also as they have to be able to pick up on a sick baby, since there are things that can show up after a few hours or even 24 hours such as cardiac and sepsis.

I hope that is what you were looking for :)
