NGCSU students please respond

Hi,

I've been accepted at the Gainesville location for Fall 2006. I have a question about the schedule. I am fairly clear about the first year schedule but am confused about the second year.

Also are all clinicals for Gainesville campus at the North GA hospital or do we have to go to several hospitals in the first or second year. Do we have a choice as to where we want to go ? For instance can I do all my clinicals at Gwinnett Medical if I wanted to ?

Congrats for being accepted to NGCSU:balloons: !! I think you will love it there! I am graduating from NGCSU in about two weeks !!

I wrote you this long post and somehow it got lost and I dont have the energy to do it again, so I'm going to make it shorter and sweeter this time!!

All of this information pertains to the Gainesville campus only, because each campus has its own clinical sites.

First year clinical sites: Northeast Ga Medical Ctr, Lanier Park

Second year: OB: Habersham, Northeast GA Med Ctr., Northside

Peds: Scottish Rite, Egleston

Med/Surg: Northeast GA Med Ctr, Northside Forsyth

Psych: Laurelwood, Peachford

We do not use Gwinnett Medical Center

You can't choose where you want to go with the exception of OB.

Second year schedule:

Mon/Fri: Clinicals 6:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (give or take)

Wed: Lecture. Time depends on if you are in the Med/Surg-Psych combo or the OB/Peds combo. You will either go from 8 a.m. until 12:00 noon or 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
