New York State License is taking forever! (.... it's been 8 weeks so far)

Published

Hi. I am an RN working in New Jersey right now, but offered a job at NYP-Cornell. I have submitted a new license in NY 8 weeks ago and haven't received it yet. I have heard it's been taking quite long but don' t the the average time for everyone. Is anyone losing their mind anxiously waiting for it? I already said good bye to my old job so I've been taking this break for 2 months. I need a paycheck..

From the POV of a new grad in NY its taking about that if not longer from what I was told. But some recruiters at least were aware of the situation.

They definitely take longer than other states . I applied for my license on April 23rd and didn't get my ATT to sit for my NCLEX until September 3rd. ?
