Suny brockport nursing

U.S.A. New York

Published

I've currently applied to Brockport's traditional nursing program and I'm really nervous cause I heard that it's strictly only GPA that they look at. Although I've had my LPN license since high school, I don't even think they'll consider that. My GPA isn't too high but it's over a 3.0 and my lowest grade on my prereqs was a B-. Has anyone applied or been accepted to Brockport's program and does anyone honestly think I have a shot at getting in???

oh ok. well that works. i got in! so guess i just may see you around campus somewhere

Congrats!!! Told you!!!

I guess there's no one else on this site going to brockport lol

Yup. Rarely

Unfortunately, it seems as if the NY section of allnurses is mainly filled with student's/nurses inquiring about programs/jobs in the downstate/NYC area. It'd be nice to see more awareness about upstate/CNY/WNY programs..

That would be nice.

did you get on the wait list?

did you get on the wait list?

No I didn't. Imma apply again next year.

I'm not applying to SUNY Brockport as I'm working toward my RN through a nearby community college. I'll probably apply to Brockport's RN to BSN later on. Just wanted to stop in and say hi. I attended Brockport High School and still live in the area, so it's nice to see others in this neck of the woods!
