I prefer Queens, Manhattan or Brooklyn. I really hope I get something before the year ends.

Good luck i've had my License since april 2010 & no job so far. Its very hard in New York right now and nursing schools are pumping out new nurses like nobody's business.

Yup, it's tough out here!

Try volunteering, be flexible about the type of work/shifts you're willing to do, and which neighborhoods and boroughs you want to work in. Think about moving outside NYC or NYS for job experience (you can always move back later, if you're relatively unattached). Keep an open mind and keep your spirits up! Best of luck.

I've heard that alot of seasoned nurses are supposed to retire @ the end of this year due to something with there pensions and then there supposed to be a need for nurses so im holding on to that dream.
