New York NCLEX-RN retake procedures

U.S.A. New York

Published

I am planning to re-take my NCLEX-RN in New York State.

I read from other articles that I don't need to submit any forms to

New York Board Of Nursing. I just need to pay Pearson Vue $200, receive my ATT and take the exam after 45 days.

4 days after learning i did not pass the exam..

If I pay the $200 now, will I be able to schedule an NCLEX appointment as long as it has a 45 days interval to my last exam date? or do i need to wait 45 days, before I will be able to schedule an appointment?

I really want to retake and pass the exam as soon as possible..

thank you very much

Hello!! I am in the same situation. What happened? Were you able to reschedule to take the exam again after 4 days of learning that you failed?? Please help! Thanks alot :)

All you have to do is pay the $200 now and wait for your ATT on email. It wont take more than 2-3 days to receive your new ATT. As soon as you receive your new ATT, you will be able to reschedule the next exam date (but you will only be able to schedule the dates after your 45 days)

I find this very helpful in my current situation because i re-register yesterday to Pearson to retake NCLEX RN soon, I was wondering if I need to call or re-apply to BON but thank God I don't need to and I will just wait 2-3 days for my ATT. Thank you for this information nursese...

Does ATT validity for scheduling the retake exam will also be 3 months?

Every time you receive a new ATT (which is every time you have to resit the exam) it will have the same validity time on it
