8 months and still searching...New grad RN

I am willing to travel to any of the 5 boroughs in NY. I am available for any shift. Anywhere....Believe me I am trying to stay positive, however, I am getting soo weary. I work per diem as an aide and I have been unsuccessful to even get a full time job as an aide. I have no money to pay my rent and buy food. If you are a nurse recruiter or you know someone that is hiring or you know someone that know someone who is hiring please direct me so that I can apply....Thanks for even reading this mess.......

You have to relocate. NYC is one of the worst job markets for nurses, along with California. Try somewhere like Texas or Florida.

Thanks guys...... If nothing by Dec then I guess I will have to move to Texas.....I have called and called and called places until some people are telling me that they will call me instead. I have done things the right way and still I can't seem to reap the fruits of my labor...................believe I have alot of faith but.....

i know how u feel.. this is definitely a trying time.. but keep your faith up.. i know i am trying to.. something will come up.. i mean we cant be unemployed with a degree forever right? i think what is killing us is the waiting for that one phone call. this too shall pass.. cheer up..

I tried nursing homes-a whole lot and nothing yet. I will continue o hold on to FAITH. I did things the right way so i expect to reap the benefits.........

like I replied to the other person. Albany med is taking new grad all the time. i know cuz i work there but dont expect the pay to be amazing. at least u got ur foot in the door and leave once u get ur one yr.
