new student nurse rejoining the course

Published

Hello I am new here, but have already found the site useful. well where do I begin, basically i started on the diploma course at the start of last year had a wobble in about April time, decided to leave, then went back till about August time and then decided to leave again. Now lo and behold I think I want to go back again, but this time change branch and also change uni's. The uni and hospital I used to go to would take me around 40 mins sometimes an hour to get to, so I think that had a big part in me leaving, the new one I;m thinking of applying to is only about 20 mins away. So my main question is does anybody know if I would have to start the course again, or can I pick up where I left off, the course that started in September would roughly be now, where I left so Can I just slot back in or do you think i'll have to start over, I don't mind starting over as it would be great for a refresher, any advice would be great. look forward to meeting some of you on here.

I think this is something that you are going to have to ask the new university. It may be they require you to start over but really they are the ones that have the last stay.

They may also be worried to whether you will actually stay and finish the course... Just something to think about

Personally I think you will need to restart the whole course again, but agree with silverdragon your university is going to question why you have dropped out twice.
