I am a new nursing student at Douglas College. My course requires that I find an online nurse to discuss the nursing practices & other nursing related information. If any nurses can help me out, that would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much :)

You will find many who pursue the online approach.
Just read the forums.

What a great idea! We take online classes but there isn't any requirement to discuss nursing topics online with people other than the ones we are in class with. I've been an LPN for 7 years and am graduating on May 21, 2005 with my BSN (YEAH!!) I'm usually here on the weekends while I am slow at work. I'd be glad to discuss nursing with you!

You are welcome to email me. The job starts Monday. Glad to have you along if that'll meet your course requirements.

Hey.. thanks so much for responding!! To tell you the truth I have never really used one of these forums before, so I am not really sure if ppl contact one another on here, or over our actual email addy's! So how did you find the schooling, you have already found a job.. that is awesome!
Hey.. thank you so much for your response. I feel like I just have so much to do!! I am not really too sure on how these forums work.. but I am sure I"ll figure it out soon enough!! I will talk to you soon!
Thanks :):):)
You can email people by clicking on their name (on the left) and when the drop down menu shows "email" so-and-so, clicking on that. Or you can "PM" (private message) them the same say.
The only time that doesn't work is if some has elected not be to able to be emailed or PM'd. Then you have to just "converse" here in "public," on the threads.....
Welcome to allnurses and to nursing, by the way!
