New specialty esthetician

Hi I'm LVN IV and blood withdrawal certificate. 
I'm wanting to go into something different. Like nurse esthetician. But I could not find if I can do it as lvn or if I need to be RN I keep reading different things. 

I know I'd have to take extra classes. Would I need to go to beauty school too first? 
I'm in California

California requires education /apprentaship approved by CA Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, 600hrs practice and passing a license exam to practice as an Esthetician.
