Hi. I'm a new RN at age 47! What an exciting few years it has been in nursing school and now passing boards on my first attempt. I don't mean to sound proud, but I know, with the Lord's help, I have accomplished a great feat! Not only did I graduate, I graduated with the highest GPA in my class. I am proud and honored to wear the title "Nurse" and hope I will live up to the high bar placed by all the nurses before me.

Pat, RN

Way to go Pat. I am also 40 something and did very well in nursing school--graduated suma cum laude. I took boards last Wednesday and am waiting to see how I did. I only got 75 questions and the waiting is nerve wracking!!

Congratulations!

In Alabama we just have to wait for snail mail. You can call the BON to see if there is a license under your social security number, but that could take the same amount of time--UGH!! I am dying here!

Way to go !!! CONGRATS ! :balloons:

I, too, was a late bloomer. Never even started school 'til the latter part of 49, graduated at 52. Also cum laude. We oldies are something else, aren't we? :D

As I say all the time, Nvr 2 Late !
