Hello Nurses....
Im 23 and I recently graduated from University of South Carolina Aiken (BSN). I just passed my boards in June and Im currently working at Aiken Regional however I've always wanted to move to Atlanta I been there many times and I feel that now is a better chance than ever to move....but I been hearing a lot that it is hard to get a job in Atlanta as a new Grad....so could anyone give me some advice about which hospital would be best to apply to and what are some good living areas....Thanks :)

The young and beautiful people in Atlanta are "inside the perimeter". Lots of things going on, fun, activities, culture all downtown. You'll like it.
Piedmont Hospital is a nice place. Good hospital.
Crawford Long is another nice one with over $200 million in renovations recently.
Grady is the trauma center but is ghetto.
Atlanta Medical Center does trauma as well. Its fair
On the north end is Northside Hospital and they make babies.
Scottish Rite is next door and is a fine children's hospital.
Dekalb medical center is a hole but in a nice location.
Those are my choices inside the perimeter. There are others around there but you want to be downtown. That's where the fun is...
Atlanta is a wonderful city. DO IT! ... and have fun
Thank you so much for the wonderful advice!!!!!!:):)

Have your Ga. license in place first - then apply - lots of wonderful hospitals around the ATL
Hello Lucky 724.....I have my Nursing Georgia license as well because I always knew I wanted to move to Georgia mainly Atlanta......I been calling a lot hospitals in Atlanta and most of them are not accepting new grads...I may just have to work at Aiken Regional for a year to get the experience that I need and then apply to hospitals
