I hope this will be a sticky....
Just wondering for those starting the Nursing Program this August and September. What is the single best advice that you have received regarding getting through the nursing program.
I'll start, I have been told I must get Ackley's Nursing Diagnosis handbook.

When you are taking your Test's DO NOT READ TO DEEP INTO THE QUESTION... That is my $.02

You'll probably get more responses if you move this thread to the Nursing Student forum. This one is for Pre-Nursing Students taking math, eng, bio, a&p, etc.... we are not in a nursing program yet.

I still am technically a pre-nursing student. I actually just completed my A&Pll
last friday and omg got A- :biggringi . I will however be a student nurse in September :)

The best advice I've gotten is to take one project or assignment at a time. Don't look at the big picture or you will get overwhelmed.
