New mexico application expiration??

Published

Hello. I applied for USRN by examination in state of New Mexico. I started processing my application such as the evaluation for CGFNS last april 2015 and registered on pearson vue last month. Haven't received my att yet. When I contacted the bon, they told me my fingerprints expired so I have to submit them again. That's why I am not eligible yet. I checked the nmbon application form and it says there that the application will be voided after a year. I'm afraid I don't get that part. Will my application be voided plus all the fees will be turned into waste year after I processed the application since I havent been able to take the exam during those times? Someone help.

Have you checked with the BON? Have you sent in fingerprints because if that is all you are waiting for it shouldn't take long to get ATT

Thank you for the reply. Yes I have all already sent them last year. I registered to pearson vue last february and havent yet received my att since then. So I contacted the bon informing me that my fingerprints expired thats why I still dont receive my att. I'm just so confuse if it's possible that my application will get expired.

Probably something you need to ask the BON

Your payment to Pearson Vue is only good for a year so you will need to reregister and pay another $200 hence why it's not recommended to register at Pearson until know ATT is forthcoming. Fingerprints often expire after 6 months. As far as needing to redo application to NMBoN contact then directly. Since it was in process it may not be considered dormant and expire after a year but only the NMBoN can say for certain

Thank you for the replies! Appreciate them.

Hello again. Do I have to pay 44$ again for fingerprints?
