I just received my license and I do not know of any places hiring nurses without experience. I'd love to work in a physicians office, but will consider anything just to obtain experience.

Joyful:
What sort of a license did you just get (RN or LPN)? Most hospitals have orientation programs for new RNs, and many are also eager for LPNs as well. Contact the HR Departments some of the in-patient hospitals in the Richmond area (VCU, CJW, Henrico Doctors, Bon Secours, etc) and see if they are hiring.
It can often be tough for a new grad to get a job in a private physician's office.
UVA Grad Nursing, the hospitals post opening on the website and I only saw 1 or 2 openings. I will apply for them, however everyone wants at least 1 year experience. I am so discouraged. Oh, I'm a LPN. I suppose I can still call their HR dept...it's worth a try.

I am not fimiliar with the area, but I recieved emails from Sentara in norfolk, VA and they hire new grads. They offer 200 dollars for uniform allowance, paid NCLEX review course and 2000 for relocation assistance. I also recieved an email from another company called Trans Care Virginia they hire new grads as well I hope that helps! Good Luck! Oh this was for ASN and BSN grads they have more benefits for BSN grads.
Oh I also got a response back from Nassawadox,VA form Shore health services. They hire new grads and 20.25/hr, a 3,000 dollar sign on bonus, and 3,500 in relocation expenses. Hope this informatio is able to help someone out there. Good luck!
How much should a new grad expect to receive for starting pay for home health in Virginia?
