RN-BSN & NP programs in new jersey

Hey all! Im currently enrolled in a nursing program at a county college in north jersey. Im 1 year away from graduating with an Associates in Applied Science and preparing to take my NCLEX-RN. I am planning to take summer classes towards my BSN because they would be cheaper to take at my county college rather than a 4 year college. However, some 4 year colleges dont accept more than a certain amount of transfer credits and im wondering if it would be useless to take these classes because I would have to take them again in an RN-BSN program. I plan on seeing my advisor this week for guidance but figured some of you may know more about what specific schools are looking for. I am curious about this because at our school patho is a 200 level course, but at other schools it is a 300 level course. I am not sure if they would accept this class being that it is a lower level (same class but lower level). I plan on applying for RN-BSN programs this fall to be on track for the fall after I graduate. I thought it may help in the job search if they see I am registered already for an RN to BSN program.

I also would love some recommendations as to which schools to transfer to. Anywhere you like? Dislike? NCLEX scores dont matter as I am already taking them after my RN program. I am looking for somewhere that offers Nurse Practitioner programs as well because that it my overall goal. I would love to become a pediatric nurse practioner some day but I dont know how possible it is without having some experience as a pediatric RN under my belt. Pediatric RN jobs are next to impossible to land as a new grad so im not expecting it to happen for me. What are some of your opinions on this? In New Jersey, is it worth it to pursue a Nurse Practioner program? Does it make more sense here to seek a Family Nurse Practioner program, or is Pediatrics at all a possibility. I would love to do either one, so any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Like I said I plan on going to my advisor this week for this information, but I thought you guys may know more about how specific schools operate and the job market around here. .
