I am a new grad nurse from a diploma program and I currently work ems and as an ER tech. I passed my nclex and my current hospital employer interviewed me, however I get the sense i won't get the job because I currently don't have my BSN (enrolled in program, will have it by august 2018). I have been applying to other hospitals and some recruiters have asked me
"If you are applying to the ER and you work in the ER why are you not applying at your current hospital?"
I am completely flabberghasted and have no idea what to say and havent found anything pertaining this. So far I have been saying that I am exploring my options and would like to see what program would be the best fit in this new career. But there has been debate if this answer is good or not. The honest answer is I dont have my BSN yet and thats it. Should i say that instead? Send help.
