Hello,

Has anyone recieved the date(s) for the Nursing Entrance Exam for September 2011? I've been studying all summer and I am very excited to sit for the test; I just hope that i do well. I have take all Pre-Reqs and received an "A" in A&P, Chem, and Eng 101...I am ready to test!!

Any ideas on the date or any news? Also, does anyone know of any secrets requirements?

When did you take the test? My overall score was a 142 which is the 97th percentile...i hope that's strong enough.....how did you do?

Woow you mean the nln score? 147? Cool! Mine is the way lower than that :(( I passed the test but as u kno it doesnt mean i am accepted..so I am still nervous. Also I have to decide something now abt the job depending on my result.. Cuz if im accepted i gotta go to school evening.. So just waiting is soooo hard to me. Do u kno anybody who took this test? Im wondering how people did generally...

Hopefully, we'll know by Thanksgiving, but the wait is killing me! What are your scores?

It seems that you are probing to find out how everyone else did but you are hiding your results...

I spoke to one of the directors they said they don't know anything yet, due to the fact that some members of the admissions board want to change the way the scores are looked at because they think its 2 strict especially since they no longer break the score down to separate 2 year and 4 year school percentiles. but SNHRN2b you def got in, I got a 116 and she told me not to worry that I did very well so you did extraordinary, probably one of the best!! She said the last group/column (relative percentiles has to be above 50) if they look at the exam score the way they normally do. She also mentioned that we should know something by mid-November.

I also spoke to my friend who is already in the program and graduate this year, she said she got in with a 120 composite but she scored 50 and above in the percentiles so you have nothing to worry about :)

I know that people are still testing this week and next week...I can't wait for those letters to go out.

Another counselor that i spoke with told me that they would be accepting more applicants this time around too.

Really? more applicants? y?.....thats a good thing though :)

If people are still testing I wonder if that's going to push back the time frame for the letters to be mailed out.....hmm

I'm surprised their still testing I thought the 21st was the last day, I didn't see any other dates opened when I went to register for the test online

I have a couple of people in one of my classes that are scheduled to take the test on Monday 10/31...

Last week, they opened up more test dates for this week and Monday, then a couple of folks went and changed their date to this upcoming Monday.

I was thinking that the process would be delayed...I hope that it does not.

Sorry for the late answer.:) I dont think I asked somebody's score, did I? I said I wanna get some ideas how other people did on the test generally rather than scrore itself.. Some people are confident enough to say their score, but others are not I think. So I expected to hear that how they feel what they did on the test generally. Sorry for that if I am looked like a person who checks other people's score only!:)) but I am not...:( just wanted to share our review after the test ! Lol and just not too confident to say my score!!:'((

I can understand how you might not feel very confident. I don't think that anyone can truly feel confident until they've received the letter informing them that they were accepted. Ultimately, that is what we are looking to receive. Try to keep positive thoughts... YKN6000 we are all in the same boat at this point.
