Cooper hospital

  1. I just found out that I'll be doing most of my clinicals at Cooper hospital. Can anyone list some safe areas to live around there, preferrably north of it? I'm moving from the west coast and am unfamiliar with NJ.

If you drive you could look for an apartment in the neighborhoods of Collingswood, Oaklyn, Audobon,Mount Ephriam, Runnemeade, Barrington, Haddon Heights. All are centrally located and 20 minutes from downtown Philadelphia and to shopping and are about 20 minutes from Cooper. Cooper is in a poor neighrhood, and I would want to live about 20 minutes away and drive into Camden for the clinicals.

You will need to go to the local newspaper to get listings, go to
Look for an apartment in these areas. If you would like to correspond with me, as I live 20 minutes from Cooper, just click on my user name and it will put you through to my email.

collingswood is nice and trendy and still affordable! there's also the west side of cherry hill near the old race track. lots of shopping and fun venues.

of course, if you can afford it, there's always haddonfield. my favorite!
