hello everyone,

i am new here. i am very new to the idea of nursing.

i was just wondering how hard is it to get into nursing school? what do you need to make on the act to be considered? i am having to take the compass test again since out of school for more than 5 years. does anyone have any suggestions on how to help inprove my chances of getting into nursing school? how soon do you need to apply for finacial aid or grants? do you know of any good free sites that help with that?

please let me know. i will appreciate any input. :)

Are you attempting to gain acceptance into a community college RN program or a university RN program?

i have only applied for a lpn nursing program at a votech. trying to get ready for the act and get accepted there. i need to look into more schools, but don't know where to start.:(

so you need to take the act in order to get accepted to a vocational/tech lpn program? i'm surprised. i completed an accredited lvn program at a business college and none of my classmates had to take the sat or act. usually these tests are entrance requirements for universities, not business or technical schools.
