:smokin:I'm so happy for you!!!!! I'm a new member and don't know how to operate so I can post a question I would like to ask

I'm trying to find out if you enroll in a vocational LVN school can you still get your lic after taking state exam are do you just get a certificate

Specializes in Intensive Care.

If you register for the state board exam, sit for the boards, and pass...you get a license. Either you become a licensed vocational nurse or a licensed practical nurse, I think the LVN/LPN status depends on the school you attended.

Specializes in CNA/LPN.

Congratulations! Of course every single one of you pushed through all the hard work and definitely deserve it! Best of luck to you and all of your future nursing endeavors! :)

Specializes in Intensive Care.

I forgot to update my progress :D Graduated December 2011. Passed the PN-NCLEX on first attempt, February 2012. I have been a practicing LPN in Home Health for the last 18 months. Just enrolled into an online LPN-RN program and want to finish that within the next 18 months or less. I have a few other things in motion to give me more earnings while I make progress toward obtaining my RN degree. Hope everyone else has been successfully moving forward with their goals :)!
