I was wondering if anyone has any advice on the subject of how to appropriately deal with an aggressive seasoned nurse as a new hire/graduate? Thank You

I am not sure what you mean by aggressive. What role does the nurse play in your job? As a preceptor?
Unless this nurse has control over your practice, go about your day. Leave it at the door when you leave. With patient ratios being what they are, and staffing at an all time low, you have other fish to fry.
JADELPN Thank you so much for your comments and advice.

Be professional and understand that part of the reason they are being aggressive is because you may be an un-wanted responsibility to them. Is that "nice"? No. It's not. But that's honest. As you demonstrate competency and willingness to learn, they should warm up to you. I say should, because, some people just suck, as this job will teach you. In which case, just ignore anything they have for you that isn't helpful.
