New Grads in Texas?

I am graduating from Nursing School in May- I live in Phoenix, Az and there is not a new grad job in sight! It wasn't like this when I started school, it's very frustrating...I am thinking of moving back to Texas where I lived my whole life until about 6 years ago. How does the new grad situation look in The Woodlands/Houston area? All the new grads in Phoenix from the last couple semesters are starving- I can't do that!! Got mouths to feed! Plus you can take the girl out of Texas, but not the Texas out of the girl :heartbeat I miss my home state!!!

Better hop on it because a lot of new grad programs have already hired for the May grads.

so true! I'm graduating in May, and I have been to two job fairs, and no interviews, not a one! Not to mention that Ihe numerous jobs I've applied for online.

I'm a good student and I currently work as a PCA at a hospital. I know I have a job here, but I am interested in working at a bigger hospital.

Look at the web sites for the Methodist Hospital, Hermann Hospital, St. Lukes Hospital and the Harris County Hospital District. I saw some vacant positions on those sites.
