Published

Im A RN AAS. I live in new york and still no JOB. Its been a year now. If these hospitals don't want to hire new grads cause they feel they will leave after a year, why not make us sign a contract for two years or something. Do any know any Dr office, clinic or hospital is hiring new grad RN AAS.??????? I NEED A JOB

Specializes in PACU.

It's my understanding that NYC nursing jobs are requiring a BSN for the most part--especially the hospitals.

Maybe try walking into DRs offices with your resume and trying to go that route?

Are you willing to relocate upstate or to western NY?

Do you know any DR. Offices in nyc that are willing to hirwork RN new grad?

There are a lot of doctor's offices in NYC... your barber would be to open a phonebook (or google) and start calling all of the offices in your radius and ask. Most jobs are not posted.

Hmmmmm ok. I will start calling them.

thanks

The emerging trend is for clinics and doctors' offices to be staffed with medical assistants and LPNs because they can work for much lower labor costs than their RN counterparts.

I would consider moving. In other areas, it is easy for an associate nurse to get a job. I had two within my first year.
