Why Peds? Only you can answer that. What draws you to pediatric nursing? Use this forum as a practice interview. Tell us what YOU think. How would YOU answer those questions? We can help you with phrasing or help adjust your responses, but if you go into that interview with scripted responses from other nurses, what happens when you're asked a question you haven't thought of in advance?

Well, why do you want to work in peds? I hate adults, that's my answer to that question. ;) After 11 years of being a pediatric nurse, I don't get asked that anymore though.

What do you think you would do if you encountered a difficult family? Also, define "difficult family."

And what do you think you would do if you encountered a difficult doctor? Have you not encountered any in your clinicals? Or heard nurses at your clinicals talking about them?

The purpose of a prospective employer asking you these questions in an interview is to get YOUR answers, not someone on the internet who they are not interested in hiring.
