Hello everyone, hope this message finds everyone in good health,

I would like to seek further guidance about the recent corona virus outbreak In Los Angeles and being a newly licensed RN in California; I have been applying for RN positions like crazy. In the meantime, and now as a licensed professional, is there anything I could do to help my community concerning the outbreak when staffing is concerned?

How or does the BRN address newly licensed nurses seeking employment to help out at their nearest clinic?

It is to my understanding that retired nurses are being called into work to help with the shortage in Los Angeles, and also losing support staff because of corona like signs/symptoms. I am also concerned about being accused of negligence for not taking action during this difficult time being licensed or not taking action. How should I go about this?

There are volunteer organizations for Nurses. If you applied for jobs before getting your RN license you will need to reapply.
