Hi Everyone!
I was hoping you all could impart your wisdom upon me again! I'm in my last year of my RN program and am currently 14 weeks pregnant. I'm due May 4th and am supposed to graduate May 20ish.... Assuming I finish with my class and graduate in May, I wasn't planning on working for another year considering the new baby and all. I would like to be at home for at least a year and then when I do start work, I would like to work part time. Will I have problems getting a job if I wait a year? Since I will be a first time mom, I honestly think it will be too overwhelming to have a new baby and start my new career (no previous medical experience) all in the same year. But I am concerned that I will have trouble finding a part-time job (weekends only), or any job for that matter, if I wait too long after getting my license. What do you all think? Have any of you been in the situation?

i would imagine it would be hard to keep up your clinical skills/knowledge learned if you dont use them for a year.
could you try for part time doctors office work? or weekends only?
what options for work offered depends, really, on your place of employment. it varies place to place.
good luck
