Don't mean to scare you but just because you get your ATT doesn't mean that they will grant you a license. Trust, I've been there... ATT and licensing are two separate things. Got my ATT, passed the RN NCLEX, and still had to wait two years to get licensed. BUT that was after 2 DUI's. I was in an LPN to RN program. When I graduated with my LPN I had 1 DUI on my record (think it was only like 2 years old too) and had no problem getting licensed. Most boards do not take action after 1 DUI but DO NOT get another. When people say the BON is no joke they mean it! You have to be SO careful, get another DUI and it will seriousley mess up your entire life and career. I'm sure you're not planning on getting another one... but no one does. Just sayin... you wanna keep that untarnished license when you get it DO NOT mess up again because if you do the BON will chew you up and spit you out!
Good Luck to ya!
