New Grad Job Hunt struggles

Published

i'm a new bsn grad from dec 10 class. i am from iowa and soo frustrated with the job hunt right now. i feel as though all of this online application stuff is never getting to the people that are supposed to see them. i am frustrated as some of my friends already have jobs, as i do not, and feel as though i should by now. just recently went through a 3 month hire process and didnt get the job offer in the end. i am willing to relocate and really want to get to colorado, but since i am a december grad i dont fit the requirements to get into the new grad residency program out there. i am very frustrated and i know i am not the only one out there. i feel like even calling the hr departments they are trying to avoid me from talking to the nurse recruiter and i just get referred back to the online work. soo frustrating. i want to move...but feel like there is nothing out there. help!

I applied for a job two months ago, and the place that I applied at let me see how many times that they had viewed my application. I just checked today.. and its still at 0.

I'm a new RN and most of the new grads that I worked with said they have one year of applying to different hospitals until they got hired to a new hospital I'm working with. What I did was..I insisted after they have denied me the first time, I said everything that I can offer to the company and to my patients as a good nurse and asked them to at least try me, and can be an asset to the company. Have a bit of confident during interviews :-)
