Hi! I'll be interviewing for a new grad training program in a neurosurgery department very soon. I'd welcome any feedback regarding how you got into the field, what you like most about it, what you like least, what advice you'd give a new grad, what situations do you usually encounter, would this be a good place to start a career, etc.

Thanks in advance for your interesting stories and advice!

Neuro has a TON of road trips. CTs, MRIs, etc. you have to go with. You fall behind on your other patients. Also, can be very demanding for the simple fact that because of the circumstances at handmost patients cant get ANY sedation at times. Interferes with neuro exams.
