Hi everyone :)
I have an interview this Thursday for an ED internship and was told that, in addition to a panel interview, I will be taking a nursing assessment and skills test. Does anyone have any experience with having to take a test like this at the interview? Panel interview is scary enough and I'm a bit freaked about the test as it's been 6 months since I've graduated and my skills are a bit rusty. Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

Brush up on medication calculations and "common" meds and questions related to CPR. Be aware they know you have no experience so do not try to compensate. They are probably looking for someone who will fit in to their department. That means someone who is willing to learn, not too cocky, is a good communicator and not overly shy either. Be prepared to answer why you want to work there and what your goals are (if you do not plan to continue your education your goal can be to learn as much as possible in order to be confident in your skills).
Thank you so much, classicdame! Your advice was very helpful :)
I thought the interview went well and, regardless of whether or not they hire me, I thoroughly enjoyed my interview (for once). Lots of laughs, lots of good energy, and genuinely wonderful panel of nurses who did the interview.
