Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian - Newport Beach New Grad

Hello friends!

So I recently applied to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. I applied to the CCU which says that it is still under review, I also applied to the Sub ICU and Neuro ICU that says my application is closed? Does that mean I was not considered? Also to those that did get a job at this hospital, how long did it take for you to hear back? Thanks for any input!

Hi, I was looking into applying to their new grad program but could not find any posts labeled "new grad." How did you find it?

There aren't any positions specifically labeled new grad, you can any apply to any "Clinical Nurse I" job and that's considered new grad!

Hey there! I also applied to the CCU earlier this month and mine says it's still under review. I applied to sub ICU, OR, and tele positions as well and my app for sub ICU is still under review but OR and tele are closed, which I'm guessing means that they did not consider me. I emailed the head of talent acquisition and got an automatic reply saying she's out of the office until Friday, so I'm going to ask her then! I'll keep you updated on what I find out 🙂 good luck!

Hey! yeah mine for CCU stills says under review too! I was getting nervous because I applied almost a month ago. I noticed they also changed it from a clinical I to a clinical II position, so not sure how that changes our applications. I applied to a couple of other clinical I med surg jobs that haven't even been opened yet, it still says application submitted. And I believe so about us going up against people with experience, it sucks that they don't have specific new grad positions )-: and that would be great, thanks for keeping me updated! any other hospitals you are looking at?

I noticed that too! I asked about that in my email as well so I'll let you know what she says. I'm also looking at UCI and MemorialCare (Orange, LB, and Saddleback) and I was trying to figure out how to apply for KP SoCal's residency program, but Hoag is my dream hospital. What about you? 🙂

Thank you! And pretty much all the same hospitals but I am also looking at providence.

Just checked and my app for sub ICU says closed 😭

Hi! I'm trying to figure out KP program as well but I can't find any information!

I was looking into Providence, but I couldn't find anything for their new grad program in California... I  just found applications for  Washington LOL.

I believe they are opening up a new cycle in December, so just be on the look out!
