Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Another question: if they only required me to send supporting documents for this matter, does that mean that the other requirements were fine? And, do they really call employers?
Yes, I think your others documents are fine. Im not sure if they call employers, just make sure all your certifications are legit. :)
So i guess that's the clock hours and course description where in each subject has a breakdown of the clinical hours and theory hours as well. I went there yesterday and they told me that adult nursing was actually incorporated to all subjects because they always have in any subject the statement "across the lifespan" so that says it all. They didnt want me to request for a syllabus because it was not mentioned in the email. Are you also a filipino nurse? I think all of us here in the PHL have the same curriculum right?
I am also from PHil, if you are asking me ehhehe,, My case officer asked me for the same thing, so my school gave me a course description of gerontology subject. I think it is incorporated in ncm 105. ( not sure). That is what I passed to my case officer, also a course description of NCM 104 or 103, because that's where the mental health nursing is.
@ ey-em: Do u have a medical insurance already? I don't know where to get one... thanks
I didn't get one, nor am I planning to get one. Lol! Personally for me, I don't think I'll need it in a period of 3 months. But then again, it never hurts to be sure.
I had health insurance when I was still in Sydney under a student visa but I never ever used it for medical purposes (never got sick or anything). but then again, it's a condition for every international student to have one so I can't complain. lol!
Thanks for replyin. Hope ypu wont get annoyed. Anyway, what my school will be giving me are the clock hours for the entire nursing subjects and course description of all subjects as well. I'm not even sure if thats what they are requiring me to pass together with my RLE. Did you also pass a syllabus?
