Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Part 1 thread New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand - Nursing for Nurses
Right on! A friend of mine who had her BP there told me that the school prefers Indian students as well since they tend to avail of their package which includes accommodation... It's quite expensive actually...
The accommodation package IS through the roof! One is better off finding a place nearby and just walk to school. There were Filipinos who took the accommodation package but mostly the Indians do. In my opinion however, it doesn't really follow that the school prefer them over other nationalities.
Good evening Nurses :):):)
I feel so overwhelmed while reading your recent posts here, more about BP, Visa and more about Aussie dream.:bowingpur:bowingpur I am more inspired to keep on praying and believing that i could be like you guys.. So, for others (including me:dncgbby:) who are still waiting for Eligibility, Good look and God bless.. :dncgcpd:
But wait, there's more :rotfl::rotfl:
anyone here who is a RN in New Mexico, where or how did you get you verification request form? i tried to check their site yet the form states that
"WE DO NOT VERIFY RN/LPN LICENSURE TO OTHER BOARDS OF NURSING OR TO PRIVATE ENTITIES.
YOU MUST GO THROUGH THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF STATE BOARDS OF NURSING (NCSBN) AT
WWW.NURSYS.COM"
this is the only doc that im still lacking to pass in ahpra..
Hope guys you can help me with my query...:(
Thank you so much

Why don't you just leave it be? You can opt not to declare that you are licensed in New Mexico. I know of a lot who applied with AHPRA only with their PRC license and they got approved. This way, your application won't be delayed.
