Hello, y'all - I'm use to being on the correctional nursing thread and have now found that I will also be utlizing this thread as well. I have been interviewed and fingerprinted today and if all goes well with the fingerprinting I will be substituting as a nurse within my school district. I wanted to jump in here and say "HELLO" to all of my fellow nurses and let you know that I will be asking ya'll alot of questions. Wanted to warn you all ahead of time....LOL:D
My first question that I have is - "Are there any CEU's or certifications that only specify for school nurses." Can you let me know where I can find them. I would really like to get "a leg" up on current information. I know that it is a BIG change coming from corrections. I'm excited to start in this field and excited to meet and talk to all of you.
Thank you for any advice given in advance
