Today I did it! After a year of lurking and trying to determine if I could possibly complete an distance program I decided to do it. Watching all of you take course after course and succeed and encourage one another to do well is just so inspiring. I have decided to start with anatomy and feel confident that this is a good choice! Is anyone else currently studying for A&P?
Thanks again for all the inspiration.

Hi Juju congrats on enrolling into EC. i'm a newbee as well with EC. haven't officially enrolled yet i'm still waiting for my transcript evaluation. i've taken A&P at the CC, so you're doing the right thing by getting it out the way.
Good luck

Welcome Juju! You can do this just like the rest of us have. It's a lot of hard work and determination but so rewarding in the end. Best of luck to you!

I'm actually working on finishing A&P, but through Straighterline. I still have to do the final and a couple exams.

Congrats on enrolling! I am finishing up with Micro now, but have already received my study materials for A&P, which I will start on next. I can tell you though that I am feeling more confident about A&P than Micro. If I can pass Micro, I can do anything:eek:

Hi, I also am new starting with EC...doing A&P and Life Span (Psych)...if anyone wants to study, help keep each other in check send me a PM....also wondering if anybody had good info on where to buy books? Seems when I have tried half.com and others the ISBN is invalid? Getting them through EC would be $1291.45....which I am willing to pay if no other option? Thanks & Good Luck to everyone else as well! It's a new journey...

I started with Excelsior the beginning of this year and I used college network. I took A&P and micro this summer. Id have to say that these 2 exams have been the hardest. I have now completed just about all of my gen eds and 3 of the nursing series exams. I spent about 2.5 months studying for A&P. The college network module was all that I used. I also took the excelsior practice exams which is absolutely a must! I would study for a decent amount of time and then take the first one to see where you are at and where you need to focus. Then do the second one about a week before you plan to exam to see where you are at! GOOD LUCK!
